On 21st October 2021, a Suction Pump worth RM 5,200.00 was delivered to the Emergency Department, Hospital Kuala Lumpur (HKL) under CovidFund.
Suction Pumps are utilised in Intensive Care Units (ICUs) and Accident & Emergency (A&E) departments, to help patients with breathing difficulties. These aspirators are used for removing obstructions from a patient’s windpipe and/or lung – like mucus, saliva, blood or secretions, and are usually used on patients who are unconscious and on medical procedures.
Thanks to your generous contributions, CovidFund is able to procure more life-saving medical equipment for hospitals in need.
