As families gradually return home after the disastrous floods that hit many areas in the Klang Valley, many are beginning to feel the burden as family possessions are damaged and have to be discarded. With cleaning and rummaging through the aftermath of the floods being a mammoth task, now, pleas for help are coming in for assistance to clean, and for household items,
Realising the need to provide families this simple form of help, on 29th December 2021, FreeMakan delivered rice cookers and stoves to 4 families living in Kampung Melayu Subang, who were affected by the recent floods.
The Malaysia Flood Relief is a campaign launched by FreeMakan together with Uplift and the BAC Education Group. To date, almost RM300,000 has been raised in cash and kind to help families and victims of the floods throughout the nation.
Thanks to our generous sponsors and donors, we were able to bring temporary relief in the form of food aid and essentials to families affected by the floods in the Klang Valley and in Pahang.
